A £186,000 contract has just been completed on time and budget by Austin-Lenika Contracts Ltd at United Utilities Preston/Clifton Marsh wastewater treatment plant, The Amp 5 Maintenance project involved the installation of 10x new auto-desluge pumps on the existing primary settlement tanks and 4x new compactors at the existing inlet works, Austin-Lenika installed new cable containment and power, control, instrumentation and profibus cabling from 2x new motor control centres (Mccs) to the new equipment, The majority of the new equipment was networked on 6x new Profibus DP and PA networks
