A circa £32,000 design, build project has been successfully completed for Blackpool Transport for the electrical installation on a new DC Sub-station at Fleetwood/Lancashire The new Sub-station is part of a £100m upgrade of the 125 year old famous Blackpool Tram Network.
Work included installing a new HV AC/DC transformer rectifier, DC switchgear, Battery tripping system, Traction feeders and all inter-tripping and safety systems All the Sub-Station trip protection was also design and installed by Austin-Lenika Contracts Ltd
